Notan With a Twist...

Adding Bubbles and Dots

First you cut a regular black and white Notan

Then you print with gray tempera paint on bubble wrap

After the gray dots dry use a single neon color applied with a cotton stick to make dots on top of the gray dots but only to the gray dots in the box.

This girl did not print gray dots inside the box...that's okay, we make it work by adding the neon dots to the flipped parts outside the box instead of inside the box.

Blow dry your neon dots...

Then using a dot tool

I ordered these Nail Dot Tools and they work great.

I keep my paint in egg cartons and store the egg cartons in lard 2 1/2 gallon zip lock bags

I put the used cotton sticks in Edgar. Edgar is a wig foam stand.
