Glass Fusion Workshop...

Two of the most awesome art teachers there ever were! Alyssa Tice and Andrew Cassaboon. I am proud to say they are in my awesome district of Prince William County Virginia. Andrew is up for the Agnes Meyer Outstanding Teacher Award... and he deserves to win!

Alyssa and Andrew taught us how to fuse glass bugs in our very own clay kilns...Awesome!

Now this is how art teachers do professional development!

My bug in parts...

Here he is taped together...

Here he is in the kiln...

I named him Seg!

  4. Hi - they look great, thanks for sharing. What tape do you use? Does it just burn off in the kiln?

    1. Thanks Ella..Not sure what your are asking about burning off in the kiln but if it's the paper I am not sure. I was not there when the kiln was unloaded. I would assume so though. That is a great question!
