Well it's me standing in my back yard looking at the trees past my neighbors back yard.
But OMG how beautiful right! We do not have seasons in Houston, Texas were we moved to Virginia from. So every Fall it is just so beautiful and fascinating watching all the warm Fall colors popping out everywhere. This is just the greatest couple of weeks for me and hubby.

Autumn is the best! Glad you are enjoying it. I love living midst the brilliant reds and oranges of maples, and the trees that turn amber and golden and ruby and more. Best time of the year, no doubt!
ReplyDeleteMy first season here I cried tears of joy for 2 weeks as the colors changed!
DeleteI forgot to write in my previous comment - your first two photos are spectacular! I love the brilliant orange-golden glow!
ReplyDeleteThanks...the sun hit them just right and we were lucky enough to be out walking the dog at just the right moment...It only lasted about 5 mins.
DeleteStunning! I grew up in Indiana. When I moved to Houston we only had pine trees. In Dallas we do get some changes, but none like this.
ReplyDeleteBeth ..I grew up in Dallas, went to Houston for college and ended up there for 20 years. I love it and miss it every day...except these 2 weeks in Fall when the color changes. By the way I love, love, love your Dia de los Muertos sugar skull oil pastel project! It is awesome...http://itisartday.blogspot.com/2015/10/day-of-dead.html
