I am the guest blogger for the Diva this week July 20th, 2015. I am so honored that Laura has allowed me this time with her awesome challenge followers. The challenge is based on my trip to Anna Maria Island, Florida with my family and friends. We went to the Ringling Circus Museum and I was inspired by the art and architecture of the place-the Zentangle possibilities are endless!

DeleteThank you, Dee, for the challenge this week. I had a REAL zen time tangling it. Thanks also for you comment on my blog and your explanation on animals used in circuses. Starting this year, here in The Netherlands wild animals are forbidden in circuses. And Europe is following as far as I know.
ReplyDeleteAnne, I am glad you liked the challenge

Lee, thank you again for this challenge! It was fun, especially since this was the second Diva challenge that I have participated in, and you, my Zentangle teacher, are the guest blogger. By the way, you asked on my blog if you could post my tile here, and of course the answer is yes. I'd be honored.
ReplyDeleteYeah...thanks!
DeleteLove all your pics and tiles. It was really nice of you to feature one of your students tiles. I had fun with the challenge.
ReplyDeleteBeverly...I am so glad you enjoyed the challenge. Verne and Monique are my students as well.

As a fellow art educator, (33 yrs), I am so honored that you picked my Tropicana tangle for your challenge this week. It will be a pleasure to see what everyone does with it. It is truly a gift that you have given me during this challenging time in my life as I navigate through my Husbands dementia and our “new normal”. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteKate, I am so glad you contacted me. Tropicana is one of my favorite tangles. I just love seeing what everyone did with it during the challenge. I was so honored to be a guest blogger for the Diva. Her followers are so awesome! I am so sorry to hear about your husband. My great grandmother, grandmother and father all had alzheimer's so I understand your pain. My husband has MS so I am learning to adjust to our "new normal" as well. If you ever need anyone to chat with please email me anytime at doodleallday@hotmail.com
