  1. Loved your vessel, and mask making class Lee! It was so great to meet you. How awesome was that conference!
In answer to your 'holiday art' - teaching at a catholic school I am able to discuss religious holidays and sometimes use them as inspiration for our lessons. For example a value landscape of Bethlehem with little baby Jesus for Christmas. We actually have a curriculum requirement to make art related to the Catholic faith, so Christmas, St. valentine, St. Patrick, and even Days of the Dead fit right in. I feel you have to sometimes use what excites the kids and holidays are super fun!

  2. Kristin...thank you for coming to my class and I am so glad you enjoyed it. And thank you for the comment about holiday art. In public school we can not do anything christian related which is strange because we do Islamic art and we do Dia de los Muertos.

Conference was awesome...can not wait till next year!
