4th Grade Summer School Math...

The summer school math class was working on fractions so in art we measured out 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, 1 inch. lines. for their width. We used water soluble markers and a Sharpie.

Measure your lines either 1/4, 1/2, 3/4th or 1 inch apart.

Using a compass also measure out your circle spaces

Outline the lines with Sharpie 

Put one line of marker color next to

the Sharpie line

Use water and a brush to spread out the color.

For younger students you can use plates and lids instead of the compass
