I created this piece and sent it to the Brooklyn Art Library who will then send it to a Pen Pal for me. My new Pen Pal will then send their work to me!
I am sure I will get someone totally cool!
Sept 2014...I did get someone really cool, someone who loves circles like I do!
Ooh I wish I participated! That would be a great item to receive in an exchange! I did their sketchbook project three years ago, but it took long, and then, poof!... You give it up! We went to the Brooklyn Art
ReplyDeleteLibrary to visit my sketchbook and see others, and it was kinda fun. But it's all grown SO much in the years since, and I can't imagine where they put all the sketchbooks. It's a tiny hole-in-the-wall.
Phyl...like I said before, we much have been separated at birth! I also did the sketchbook 3 years ago and I felt the same way you did. I even have part of my blog dedicated to it. The biggest lesson I learned was not to journal on a time limit. And in the end you just give it all away! It was too much to do again. But I thought the pen pal exchange would be fun. You can still do it, I don't think there is a time limit.
ReplyDeleteWe received your art work today!! We LOVE it, and it completely intrigued the children, too. It's going on the wall first thing tomorrow :)
