3rd Grade - City
Students will create a cityscape after looking at buildings
designed by I. M. Pei and Greco-Roman
architecture and their influence on modern architecture, using a Sharpie, 12x18
white paper and markers (or crayons). Students will discuss what an architect
is and the use of Line, Shape, balance and Unity in their work as well as the
concepts of in-front-of and behind and how Greco-Roman buildings influence
buildings of today.

I think the art work is very neat it looks like a big city that you might see on those television shows made for little kids like sesame street
ReplyDeleteThanks Steevo! It is a class favorite. I think I will add in James Rizzi next year. I just discovered his work and it would be perfect for this project.
