Today the hubby and I went into the Blue Ridge Mountains for a lunch at my principal's house. Her home is up in the hills and backs up to the Shenandoah National park. It was so beautiful with all the hills and the leaves turning colors. So different from Houston....where there are no trees - no leaves changing colors and no hills!

Hi Lee-
ReplyDeleteI ran across your business card in a book today. Thought I'd visit your blog1 Glad to know you are still playing with it. NO TREES? We have LOTS of trees in Houston - at least where I live although the drought is taking it's toll. It looks as though Memorial Park has lost at least 30% of its tall beautiful pines and oaks! You are right about the leaf color - green or brown! Anyway, what a beautiful place she has! Happy you were able to enjoy it!
