When asked about grading on a recent Facebook post middle school art teacher Mario Asaro responded with ERP. This is so awesome, I plan on using the ERP philosophy in my classroom from now on. Mario shared that his student's grades are not based on their abilities but rather on the effort, responsibility and participation (ERP) they put into the class. So as I always tell my own students you do not have to be Picasso to get the highest grade possible in art class, you just need to try your very best on everything you do. Thank you Mario for these words of wisdom.
