Glass Fusion Workshop...

I have to say I work in the best district there is...Prince William County Schools, Virginia. We have an amazing art director, Jasmine Hawkins and just the best arts program there is. Each year Jasmine orginizes workshops that are all taught be the county art teachers. Two of the finest teachers we have are Andrew Cossaboon and Alyssa Tice. 

This time it was creating a glass fusion dish.

So much fun!!! I have not tried this in my own kiln yet but Andrew swears it is easy peasy!

Felting is Fun...

I had a parent/teacher Felting is Fun class. And OMG it was so much fun!

to all my Zentangle classes. Her work is amazing.

I learned how to felt watching Cassie Stephens Wednesday night blog chats. Her show is on Facebook at 9pm EST. Each week she has different art topics. I have also attended ART SCOUTS where I took the class I am now teaching to my students from Ginger Pacer.

My STEAM presentation 2017..

Each year my district has a STEAM presentation. 

Mrs. Cahill and Mrs. Solomon who are teachers at my school, Cedar Point presented our STEAM lessons.

Art Teacher Workshop...

I work in the greatest district...Prince William County Schools in Virginia. We have an amazing art coordinator who puts together fantastic professional development classes that are all about art. There is nothing better than sitting through a meeting that is actually designed for art teacher. This observational drawing and printmaking workshop was the one I was gave. It was a lot of fun and nice to just hang out and do some art with other art teachers.
