The
National Art Education Association has a program were it is inviting educators
to "tell their story". These videos are about how art has changed the lives of art educators and how they are now changing the lives of their students.
This awesome video is of Samantha Melvin, who I am honored to say is a friend of mine. We started teaching in Spring Branch ISD in Houston, Texas together. Were were also Elementary Teacher of the Year the same year at our respective schools. Samantha went on to win Teacher of the Year for the whole school district. Samantha is just an amazing person.
