4th Grade Masks...

Teotihuacan inspired mask
We cut the masks out of cardboard then painting them black. Next we water color painted a sheet of white paper in complementary colors-half and half.

When all the paint is dry we started cutting the water color painted sheet into small, square chips.

Glue on what paper for the eyes and use a Sharpie for the pupils.

Use a glue stick t attach square, painted chips.

When the mask is finished, Mod Podge or Tempera Varnish over all the glued on chips.

Our inspiration piece
